OOAK Don Post Studios Creature A master Mask custom Mechanix Illustrated Tharp

  
This is a recent casting from the Master mold of the DPS Creature (version A) Calendar reissue mask. The Master mold is the only plaster mold that's made on the original clay sculpture. We do not own this mold. It has been custom painted by Cathy Tharp with a scheme that was inspired by the cover art for the 1954 Mechanix Illustrated Magazine, which depicts the underwater suit for the film. This mask is not trimmed for wearing, (although it can be trimmed) and is for display only.
